BRILLIANCE AWARDS NOMINATION FORMS

The Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas is seeking nominations for the 2019 Brilliance Awards. Winners will be awarded at the annual “HCAC Gala & Brilliance Awards” taking place on Friday, July 26th, 2019 at the Embassy Suites Brier Creek, located at 8001 Arco Corporate Dr, Raleigh, NC 27617.

The HCAC mission is to provide the necessary resources to ensure the continued progress of its members, while promoting the long-term success of Hispanic owned construction businesses, in the States of North and South Carolina. Each year, HCAC is proud to recognize five contractors and one associate who uphold these values and have outstanding performance over the last years that serves as an example within the Construction industry in the Carolinas. As in previous years, the nomination process will be highly competitive, so contractors should focus on everything they have done this year to improve their business and support the construction industry.

Nominations for the 2019 Brilliance Awards are due on July 8th, 2019. Once the nomination deadline passes, all nominations will be evaluated for the Nominations Committee and one winner will be selected for each category. The HCAC staff will work with each nominee to put together a presentation for the Gala and Brilliance Awards ceremony; including company logo, biography, business description, photos, and fact sheets.

DESCRIPTION OF EACH CATEGORY

• Trade Contractor of the Year (Hispanic-Owned)
  1^st tier contractor who excels in being an intricate part of the success of a project by providing specialized industry services, environmental responsibility and disposition to adopt the best practices and technologies, with on-time delivery and minority participation, if applicable.
• Subcontractor of the Year (Hispanic-Owned)
  2^nd or 3^rd tier subcontractor who excels in being an intricate part of the success of a project by providing specialized industry services.
• Remodeler of the Year (Hispanic-Owned)
  Contractor who stands out for providing high quality construction services to residential clients, with excellent customer service, environmental responsibility and disposition to adopt the best practices and technologies.
• General Contractor of the Year
  Contractor whose exemplary collaborative efforts render a consistent high-quality product for the best value with on-time delivery.
• Associate of the Year
  Company or individual who has made significant contributions to HCAC members that enables growth and success of Hispanic firms.
• Safety Champion (Hispanic-Owned)
  Company whose safety culture and practices serve as an example to all other construction businesses for embracing the safety of their workers in the jobsite.
