HCAC presents the Hispanic Construction Trade Show Charlotte 2013

  • The Hispanic Construction Trade Show is the only event of its kind aimed at Hispanic contractors and workers in the Carolinas.
  • Different exhibitors will have the unique opportunity to present their products and services to hundreds of small Hispanic-owned construction businesses.
  • Hispanic contractors and their families can enjoy a day of information, entertainment for adults and children, and education.

Charlotte, NC. August 2, 2013.  The Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC), the organization that represents the interests of Hispanic-owned construction business in the region, announced a new version of the Hispanic Construction Trade Show, which will take place on October 19, from 11AM to 4PM, at the Lowe's store in Dilworth, located at 217 Iverson Way, Charlotte, NC 28203.

The Hispanic Construction Trade Show, the only event of its kind in the region, is a unique opportunity where manufacturers of building materials and tools, as well as service providers of the construction industry, can develop relationships with the growing Hispanic construction market.  Hispanics now comprise about 75% of the total construction workforce in the state and we expect event participation and attendance to continue increase this year.

The Hispanic Construction Trade Show, organized by the Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC), Lowe’s and La Noticia (Hispanic newspaper in the Carolinas) will include companies such as:

The entertaining and educational event will also include short workshops and trainings in areas related to construction.  The training topics are being developed to meet the needs of the local construction community.
