HCAC signature’s construction training program will position Hispanic subcontractors to straighten relationships with General Contractors

September 1st, 2015. Raleigh, North Carolina. Small and medium Hispanic subcontractors of the region will access training while building their management skills. Five very well recognized General Contractors will provide participants with the necessary tools to grow their business.

The HCAC Construction Management Training consists of 21 hours of classroom learning, divided into five modules of different lengths: Solicitation, Bidding, Contract Negotiation and Legal Aspects of Signing Contracts, Project Execution and Growing your Business.

HCAC offers this training to create opportunities for GC’s and subcontractors to identify potential partners in the market and develop solid business relationships. This also makes it easier for small and medium sized subcontractors to meet the expectations of GC’s, as they hear first-hand about their requirements. Among the general

This training is intended for subcontractors who are ready to start bidding on commercial projects. In addition, participants must attend all sessions to earn the the certification of completion. Classes will take place on Wednesdays, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, starting September 30 through November 11, 2015. contractors invited to share their expertise in this program are Turner Construction, JE Dunn Construction, Lend Lease Construction, Skanska USA Building and LeChase Construction.

The program costs $150 for HCAC members and $350 for non-members, with a maximum of 15 participants per term. Sponsorships are also available for interested companies who may place their banners and logos at the classes, and offer a ten minute presentation, among other benefits.
