HCAC to host it's third annual Hispanic Construction Trade Show

Friday, Sept. 5, 2014 – Charlotte, N.C. The Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC) announced that they will host the 2014 Hispanic Construction Trade Show on Saturday Sept. 27 at Lowe’s of Central Charlotte (217 Iverson Way, Charlotte, N.C. 28203).

The third annual event will run from noon to 5 p.m., and admission for the entire family is free. The trade show will feature a variety of safety talks and construction workshops conducted in Spanish, along with music, live performances and giveaways. Forty exhibitors will be on site conducting tool and equipment demonstrations, with a focus on safety training.

“HCAC is a pioneering trade organization, focused on the betterment of the construction business in every sense,” said Julian Arcila, HCAC executive director. “This event combines two key elements of this process; it develops direct relationships between vendors and contractors while creating awareness about safety hazards on jobsites. We are proud to host this event year after year and thankful for the partnership with Lowe’s, which makes it possible.”

Lowe’s, La Noticia newspaper, Univision North Carolina, National Gypsum, DeWalt, Builders Mutual Insurance Company, Skanska, Latorre Insurance, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina and NC 811 are among the partners supporting the event to benefit the construction industry in North Carolina.
