Plans and Specs are restricted and are only available in hard copies. The plans and specs can be reviewed at our office in Statesville. Gilbert Engineering Co., 638 S. Meeting St., Statesville, NC. All interested M/WBE firms will have equal access to plans, specifications, and requirements of the contract.

Please notify our office (704-872-0986 Ext 102) and we can make them available to you upon your arrival. It is each subcontractor/vendors responsibility to review all bid documents issued for this project in order to provide a complete scope of work and cost proposal. The scope of supply should be received in our office no later than 24 hours prior to bid.  Final pricing should be received a minimum of two (2) hours prior to bid time.  Scopes and final pricing may be faxed to 704.878.0900 or emailed to John N. Should any of the scopes of work be too large for your company to consider in its entirety, we will consider dividing the work into a more manageable size while still giving your firm due consideration.  In addition, we will assist interested M/WBE firms in need of equipment, loan capital, lines of credit or joint pay agreements to secure loans, supplies or letters of credit, including waiving credit that is ordinarily required. We will assist interested M/WBE firms in obtaining bonding, insurance, or providing alternatives to bonding or insurance for subcontractors. We will consider negotiating joint venture and partnership arrangements with minority businesses to increase the opportunities for minority participation when possible. We will provide for quick pay agreements and policies to enable minority contractors and suppliers to meet cash flow demands. We request that you respond promptly whether you have any interest in this project.
