Where any article, division or subparagraph of the original contract documents or other addenda is supplemented herein, the provisions of the original documents shall remain in effect. All the supplemental provisions shall be considered as added thereto. Where any such article, division or subparagraphs are amended, voided or superseded thereby, the provisions of such article, division or subparagraph not so specifically amended, voided or superseded shall remain in effect.
The attention of the Contractor is called to the following clarifications, additions to and changes in the plans and specifications dated February 18, 2019 on the above job. It will be the responsibility of each Contractor to call such clarifications, additions and changes in plans and specifications to the attention of subcontractors concerned. The Engineer in no way assumes any responsibility for notifying any subcontractor, material dealers or others not having received the original contract documents.

B. RE-BID
1. The project is being re-advertised and re-bid. Bids will be received by VGCC at Building 8 Conference Room 8223, Vance-Granville Community College Main Campus, 200 Community College Road, Henderson, North Carolina, 27537 on April 10, 2019 until 2:00 PM at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

1. Due to the potential for the bids to be over the $500,000 threshold, Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds will be required.
- BID BOND: Refer to the requirements of section 4. BID SECURITY in the Instruction to Bidders / General Conditions section of the project manual.
- PERFORMANCE BOND: Refer to the requirements of section 8. PERFORMANCE BOND in the Instruction to Bidders / General Conditions section of the project manual as well as Article 35. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND and other references in the General Conditions.
- PAYMENT BOND: Refer to the requirements of section 9. PAYMENT BOND in the
Instruction to Bidders / General Conditions section of the project manual as well as Article 35. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND and other references in the General Conditions.
