Mayor of Charlotte, Mr. Dan Clodfelter will provide remarks at the HCAC Brilliance Awards ceremony
Charlotte, NC. May 5, 2015. The Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC) Construction Conference and Brilliance Awards Luncheon promises to be the event of the year for the Hispanic Construction Community of the Carolinas. The event is on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Omni Hotel in Charlotte, NC.
HCAC is proud to announce that the Mayor of Charlotte, Mr. Dan Clodfelter will recognize the importance of Hispanics in the Construction industry, by providing remarks prior to the beginning of the Brilliance Awards ceremony.
At the Brilliance Awards Ceremony, we will recognize the efforts of our members and partners in the categories of General Contractor of the Year, Trade Contractor of the Year, Remodeler of the Year, Safety Advocate, Partner of the Year and the President’s Awards for Outstanding Service to HCAC and for Outstanding Community Service.
“We added a new award category this year, the “Safety Advocate” to emphasize the critical role that safety plays in the construction industry. We think it is extremely important to highlight those companies that integrate safety into their culture and make sure that their employees return home safely every day” commented Jodi Vedelli, President of the Board of HCAC.
“We have promised top notch speakers since we started planning this event”, said Julian Arcila, Executive Director of HCAC, “and we are very fortunate to receive confirmations from our City Mayor and key industry experts such us Dave Simpson, President & CEO, Carolinas AGC who will deliver news about industry trends and upcoming opportunities. We are also expecting recognized general contractors and supplier diversity managers as panelists,” he added.
