The Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC), the non-profit organization representing the interests of the Hispanic construction community in the region, and OFIC North America (N.A.) a leading international manufacturer of roofing systems including Ondura, have agreed to initiate a partnership program for 2014.  The program will allow the manufacturer to provide Hispanic roofing contractors in the region with educational and business development tools. Roofing contractors represent more than 15% of HCAC members.

OFIC N.A. will be a very active partner of HCAC, involved in different programs such as educational workshops, expos and conferences that focus on the Hispanic contractor. In addition, marketing programs will assist roofing professionals to grow their businesses. Through this the manufacturer will better understand the needs of the Hispanic contractor.

“We’re very happy to present this partnership to our community. Through years of research and development OFIC N.A. has created durable, easy-to-install and eco-friendly products that offer homeowners a new range of looks and colors than asphalt shingles at a surprisingly competitive price point,” said Julian Arcila, HCAC Executive Director. “We welcome OFIC N.A. and its brands Ondura, Onduvilla, Tuftex, DeckRain and Ridgeline to the HCAC family.”

“When we talk about important markets for our roofing products, Hispanic Contractors and the Carolinas are both at the top of our list and so the HCAC was a natural fit,” said Bill Taylor, Vice President of Sales, OFIC N.A.  “We found that the HCAC puts a premium on partners training and sharing best practices with its membership and that fits perfectly with our strategic goals in the region,” ended Taylor.
