The Contractors Night Out was a total success, we truly thank Amor de Brazil Steakhouse for such a kind evening and amazing service!
The Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas kicked off the month of August with their signature networking event, “Contractors Night Out”. The event was held on Tuesday August, 13th 2013 at Amor de Brazil Steakhouse in Mathews, NC from 6-9PM. The premise of Contractors Night Out is for contractors, partners, members and associates of HCAC to network with each other, while enjoying themselves in the process.
Executive Director, Julian Arcila of HCAC opened the event by introducing himself, the HCAC board members and staff, including their newest Marketing Intern, Ms. Zasmira Tellez. Mr. Arcila spoke on the mission behind HCAC and the purpose of the Contractors Night Out. Shortly after, everyone in attendance was given the opportunity to briefly introduce themselves, describe their affiliation with HCAC, share the company in which they represented and more. The night was filled with laughs, great conversation and amazing food, courtesy of Amor de Brazil Steakhouse.
The room was packed with a diverse group of business professionals which included a broad variety of Hispanic contractors, insurance companies, appliance installation companies, accounting and financial firms, landscaping companies and many other Hispanic owned firms. Attendees did not leave any hesitation and immediately began networking with other companies/organizations present. The appetizer table was a major hot spot and offered numerous Brazilian dishes including Brazilian style Chicken Salad, Pãn de Queijo (Brazilian Style cheese bread), Brazilian Style Fried Banana, Picanha (Brazilian Style Top Sirloin), Linguiça (Brazilian Style Sausage) and Frango (Brazilian Style Chicken). These delightful starters were satisfying with just the right touch of elegance. With over 45 people present, the Contractors Night Out event proved to be a success. HCAC recommends Amor de Brazil Steakhouse to anyone looking to relish in a night full of Brazilian culture, food and drinks.
