The HCAC and the City of Charlotte have reached an agreement that will allow the Hispanic organization to join the city’s Professional Sponsorship Association Program in which registered SBE (Small Business Enterprise) construction businesses will be able to become HCAC members at a discounted rate.

According to Julian Arcila, HCAC Executive Director, the association with the City of Charlotte will allow SBE construction business to enjoy HCAC-specific construction services, such as specialized educational programs, access to job and business opportunities, networking events and business growth guidance.

“It is great to see the City of Charlotte encourage small businesses to join professional organizations where they can find resources and support to develop their companies.  We expect this partnership to stimulate several small construction businesses to join forces with other businesses for the growth of the industry in general”, Arcila said. The program is expected to start in March 2013.
