Hispanic Contractors trained to become better project managers
On Wednesday, November 18, 2015 HCAC celebrated the culmination of its most comprehensive educational program: the Construction Management Training hosted for the first time in the Triangle area. Small and medium Hispanic subcontractors of the Triangle area accessed training while building their management skills and received the necessary tools to grow their business.
The HCAC Construction Management Training consisted of 18 hours of classroom learning, divided into five modules of different lengths: Solicitation, Bidding, Contract Negotiation and Legal Aspects of Signing Contracts, Project Execution and Growing your Business. HCAC offered this training to create opportunities for GC’s and subcontractors to identify potential partners in the market and develop solid business relationships.
We want to extend a very kind appreciation to our instructors from LeChase Lend Lease and Skanska for their commitment and time dedicates to continue helping nurture the Hispanic Construction Community of the Carolinas, as well as to our sponsors: Builders Mutual, PNC Bank, RIDGID Power Tools, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, Skanska, iSqFt, Bobby Murray Chevrolet and La Noticia Newspaper for helping us present another successful edition of the Construction Management Training.
