All the Hispanic Contractors in the Carolinas can now access HCAC's new websiteCharlotte, NC. The Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC) launched recently a new website with the objective of providing more valuable information and resources for its visitors. The new website aims to attract both, general visitors and Hispanic Contractors in the Carolinas; to achieve this objective, the HCAC is constantly introducing new resources, news and job information so the site can be identified as a platform that is providing a real service for the construction industry.

Perhaps the most interesting feature is that the visitor will find every day new information related to events, seminars, trainings, and news. This last service is provided by linking the HCAC Twitter profile with the website, so the visitors that don't have a twitter account will have access to the latest news of the construction industry. In other words, the Hispanic contractors in the Carolinas and other actors won't have to spend hours and hours searching for information about what's happening around them.

"Information means power. We work hard everyday to get access to new information that may be of importance for our contacts. We want to feel that when anybody is accessing our website is finding information that will help to make a decision", said Julian Arcila, Executive Director of the HCAC regarding this new service for the construction community.

The site also offers a resources section where the Hispanic contractors in the Carolinas will be able to download forms to register their businesses, obtain minority certifications, fill contracts and obtain general contractors/home builders licenses. Most of the information will be available in English, with some specific materials in Spanish. There will be also chances to include technical resources, such as articles, white papers, hands-on videos, webcast, podcast and more.

The site presented also a separation between the content produced for general visitors and the content produced for the HCAC Members. "Our intention was to offer a site navigation more friendly for both profiles", Arcila said.
